The compact tracked harvester for final felling. The 243 HVT (Tilt) is equipped with the proven top carriage leveling system and enables stress-free work on steep, hard-to-reach terrain. The 243 HV has been designed without a slope compensator, enabling it to handle the heaviest applications with the highest degree of safety.
The drive width of 2.95 m guarantees optimum stability and facilitates forestry operations in all directions. Optimum weight distribution in conjunction with selected chain strands (up to 800 mm wide) protects the forest floor and produces low ground pressure and/or slight soil compaction due to the maximum footprint.
Separate hydraulic systems for the machine, crane and harvester head are perfectly matched to the engine, enabling fuel-efficient operation at the highest level of performance. The powerful parallel crane developed specifically for this machine is designed for intensive use and enables the operator to work quickly. With the optional long crane (crane length: 13.2 m), the 234HV /HVT can also be used for thinning.
The harvester’s spacious safety cab is designed in accordance with ergonomic guidelines to ensure the best possible all-round visibility and stress-free work for the operator.
